AppAgent is an award-winning mobile marketing agency, working with top mobile game and app publishers but what we believe makes us unique is our People. Currently, we have 23 happy team members of 8 different nationalities. We are consciously people-focused and we see the team as our main capital. This is why your future role will be so important!  


As a People Person you’ll be the heart of the company and evangelist of AppAgent’s culture. You will own the employee’s happiness, support the COO to fine tune people related activities and processes to enhance the team’s engagement and improve work experience.

Apart from focusing on people operations, you will also act as an Office Manager. The ratio of tasks is currently approximately 85% of your time spent on people operations and 15% of the time dealing with office administration.

As you grow within the role and the company scales up, this ratio will change and with time you’ll focus purely on people related activities. So, what exactly would you have on your plate?


Every day will bring diverse challenges and we guarantee you’ll never be bored! Your responsibilities will include:

1. People operations:

You will be supporting the hiring and employee lifecycle among others through: 

  • Job posts & candidate pipeline management
  • Conducting screening interviews
  • Supporting company onboarding & offboarding

You will work on widely understood people operations:

  • You’ll be the first point of contact for employees (requests, questions, concerns)
  • You will manage visa & relocation support
  • You will provide support with employee recognition (ex. performance bonuses)
  • You will help improve the team building strategy

You will be responsible for the payroll:

  • Salary calculation & payouts
  • Tax return management (collaboration with tax advisors and accountants)
  • Holiday and sick day management

Last but not least, you will reign in the realm of Employee Happiness:

  • Team event planning and organisation 
  • Further improve the benefit options

2. Office management:

You will be in charge of keeping our amazing villa office in an impeccable state through managing services and supplies as well as spotting issues as they arise.

We don’t expect you to be a master in all of the above - we will train you extensively so within a short period of time you will do all the above with your eyes closed! 


You are the perfect candidate for our People Person if you recognise yourself in the following points:

  • You should have excellent soft skills and you love talking to people to actually understand them
  • You have the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of initiatives
  • Your attention to detail is second to none
  • You are an organised multitasker
  • You are an assertive communicator knowing when and how to say no
  • Ideally but not necessarily, you have some previous experience in people ops/HR (even better if you did it for a startup). A willingness to dive deep into people operations is a must!
  • You are not afraid of numbers so you can for example analyse hiring indicators and build simple excel formulas
  • You feel good about optimising tasks and processes while you are not afraid to use software for that
  • You love to learn
  • Your English and Czech are fluent (both min. C1)
